Mysterious Yet Simple

Written for a man who was burdened by past mistakes and trauma.  For a breif moment, he let me see the man inside.The longing and loneliness mixed with regret. A sadness I will never forget. 

More importantly the laughter we shared together.  I was a light in a dark hour.
